Togetherville, Social Network Child Friendly

Currently parents do not have to bother to prevent their children who is not old enough to access adult social networking site. Now Facebook make a Facebook's community for children ages 6 to 10 years namely togetherville.

The contents of site is located at togetherville.com certainly child-friendly because it contains online games, watch videos, create art and of course, ad-free. They also can be connected or online with parents who are in other places.

"Internet is the greatest learning tool ever created, but many parents are reluctant to allow their children to explore it for various reasons," said Mandeep Singh Dhillon, founder and CEO Togetherville, Inc., who was also parent of three children under 10.

Restrict Internet usage for children under 13 years will lose an important opportunity to help them expand their online social skills that they need in today's world of life.

Not like the look of Facebook for adults who dominated blue and white colors, the site display was designed full of color that give impression of cheerful and full of creativity. The applications are also almost same as Facebook in general.

But there are some additional services such as Creative Artwork which is application of interactive art work, gifts may be sent to other children or to adults, and badges are designed to recognize positive behavior.
